Feedback

I showed my opening sequence to a selection of people from my target audience, and also a couple of people who were not in my target audience but still watch the Action/Thriller genre. I wanted their feedback on what is good about the sequence, and what is not so good about it.

I found that some didn't like the non-digetic music in some places not mixing into to one another. I fixed this by playing back the clips and intricately splitting the track in the right places each section flowed into one another.

Another fault was that the audience found that some of the beginning scenes where the 'recruit' is walking were too long and it took to long to get to the action. I corrected this by shortening some of the scenes, and in a couple of cases removing it all together.

The hardest part was fitting it all into 2 minutes worth of film. I had to sacrifice parts of scenes that were not essential to fit it in the time frame.

Once it was complete I showed some more people and they said they enjoyed it.
