We had the concept of the Time Detective, now we needed to decide on the costume and character’s personality.
We first looked at the Sherlock Holmes-style of ‘detective wear’, but decided it looked a bit stupid and we discarded this. We thought we should go for a more modern-looking detective, such as the classic American Private Detective costume with a long brown overcoat and a matching brown Fedora hat. This costume would contribute the overall image of the more mature superhero we discussed earlier in the blog.
To the left is a sketch I have drawn of what the character may look like.
We have found some difficulties in trying to acquire the overcoat, which means we may have to just have him wearing a suit. We will still try to find the costume we want for the detective, regardless.
